GREAT weather greeted the
racers who came from many Midwestern States to the University of Chicago in
Hyde Park, City of Chicago. The 1.1-mile course is smooth and fast, no more
potholes or patchwork, this is the new Chicago streets.
Fast
speeds in the top ability Category 1-2 made breaking away nearly impossible,
after several attempts with various mixes of riders Schroetlin gets away,
Martin joins him and they Time Trial to the finish for 1st &
2nd. No attempts to catch them by the field or individuals worked.

breakaways. Through the last two corners Adamczyk motions to team mate Serafin
to board the Adamczyk Express. The only one question: did Adamczyk slow down so
Serafin could sprint past or did he finally run low on steam?
